Lake Högsee in Serfaus

Swimming and mountain adventures

Lake Högsee in Serfaus is a great choice for combining diverse summer activities that families love. At 1,829 metres above sea level, mountain fans of all ages enjoy a very special swimming experience.

Small and charming Lake Högsee is the perfect spot for a refreshing dip, surrounded by scenic Alpine views – and plenty of action-packed play stations. There’s a cowpat trampoline, giant milk churns, a wooden marble run … and lots of other opportunities to have fun on a sunny summer’s day. Or how about taking to the water with a pedal boat, a kayak, a float or a SUP?

By the way: Just around the corner from Lake Högsee, you can find the thrilling Schneisenfeger family coaster. On the action-packed summer toboggan run, you swoosh from Alpkopf down to Lake Högsee at speeds of up to 40 kilometres per hour.

Lake Furglersee in Serfaus

A hidden gem in the mountains

It’s no surprise that picture-perfect Lake Furglersee in Serfaus is the favourite spot of many locals. Surrounded by the region’s most impressive summits and nestled amid a picturesque Alpine landscape, the small mountain lake is situated at 2,458 metres above sea level. A roughly six-kilometre trail runs along Murmeltiersteig from the mountain station of Lazidbahn cable car to the lake. Sit down by the shores, take off your backpack and breathe in the crisp mountain air … With a bit of luck, you might even spot a marmot! If you’re looking for a particularly cool mountain experience – with cool being the imperative word here –, why not dip your toes into Lake Furglersee?

Lake Wolfsee in Fiss

Are you looking for a hiking trail that is suitable for all family members and keeps your little ones entertained? Then we recommend our favourite spot Lake Wolfsee. The wide, pushchair-friendly trail runs around the entire lake. It is dotted with fun play stations, where young hikers can climb, explore and learn more about bears, lynxes and wolves. A laid-back outing for all the family!

Wode Tower in Ladis

Breathtaking views

Our favourite spot number four is also easy to reach for families who enjoy hiking. A visit to Wode tower in Ladis is a lovely idea for mountain enthusiasts and nature lovers of all ages. Expect easy hiking trails, shady forests, splendid views, fun play stations and BBQ facilities! From atop the twelve-metre tower, you enjoy breathtaking views across the Kaunertal valley and the Inn valley.
