“Serfauser Sauser”: Adrenalin rushes
are assured on a tightrope in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis/Tyrol
Seriously – this is not a ride for the faint-hearted! Starting this summer
the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis holiday region has a thrilling ride for people who don’t
mind losing the ground under their feet every once in a while. The new
“Serfauser Sauser” offers adventure-seekers a somewhat different angle on the
mountains surrounding the Tyrolean high plateau. Daredevils enjoy a bird’s eye
view of the area at speeds of 65 km/h and at a height of up to 70 metres above
the ground. The choice of sailing through the sky in a prone or seated position
is entirely up to you.
The special steel cable design gives you that unique feeling of actually
flying! It’s a bit like hang-gliding: the passenger straps on a belt which is
then firmly clipped to a steel cable. You can then choose to enjoy the ride in a
prone or seated position. Once you’re safely strapped in, you glide down the
cable on a secured pulley and enjoy the experience of feeling truly free as a
bird above the ground. The Serfauser Sauser sets off on the Zip Line system at
the Sunliner mountain terminal. This exhilarating ride ends 385 metres lower
down at the Komperdellbahn valley terminal. Onlookers below can watch how the
wind tousles the riders’ hair as they open their arms wide and cries of joyful
relief resound across the mountains. A rush of adrenalin never gets to feel much
better than this. The shining eyes and beaming faces of the courageous riders
speak volumes at the exit. Very quickly it becomes obvious that the Serfauser
Sauser is quite simply an unparalleled mountain experience!
